Made it as shown and it tasted great. I always make a recipe the way it is written first time or not at all. For the reviewer that left out the garlic, parmesan cheese, and the nutmeg...what is it that you think you made? Whatever it was it was not Alfredo Sauce. Sounds like an easy Bechamel...without the flour; again what is that?

I always judge a recipe by asking myself: would I pay for this in a restaurant? And the answer for this sauce is ABSO-FREAKIN-LUTELY! This sauce is PHENOMENAL! Way better than almost any Alfredo sauce I've ever had in any restaurant. Bonus, it was incredibly easy as well. I will NEVER use a jarred sauce again.

I omitted the nutmeg since I was out, and instead added Rix Mix (locally made, awesome spice mix from Fargo, North Dakota) and a little cayenne pepper for some kick. Also added broccoli, and cajun shrimp and even with a double batch I barely had enough left overs for lunch! My son's loved it on noodles and I enjoyed over zoodles

I left out the nutmeg, added fresh mushrooms and spinach and poured it over center cut pork chops.. absolutely delicious! Thank you for sharing!

This is an amazing recipe! Altho, I highly recommend NOT using the nutmeg. IMO, it just tastes better without the nutmeg. But my husband and I use this recipe all the time!!!

I never rate recipes...probably because they never turn out THAT great! (My culinary challenge - not the recipe I'm sure.) But this is SO easy that I couldn't even mess it up. I'ts a keeper for sure! My non-keto family LOVED it. It's good over chicken of course, but also quite tasty over beef. I missed in a little of the natural juice - yum! Warmed up great too!

Absolutely amazing! Eat over zucchini spiraled noodles with shrimp. Best dinner ever. I added more garlic because I'm a fan of garlic, and used Shreaded parmesan cheese, not powder. Would highly highly recommend!

Quick and easy. I added about a teaspoon of white pepper and eliminated the nutmeg, because I detest nutmeg! Tastes great!

It was a pretty good recipe the only thing was it was a little liquidy so if anyone has those problems what i did was i added 3tbsp of flour and 3tbsp of cold water but to make it keto friendly instead of regular flour i put in 2tbsp of almond flour and 1tbsp of coconut flour with the 3tbsp of water

Great sauce, not too light, not too heavy, great flavor added with the nutmeg. Added some fresh grated Asiago and that added just a bit more depth of flavor. This will be our go-to white sauce!

I like to make this and spoon it over steamed broccoli. It takes care of my pasta cravings. I always go back to this recipe because it's quick, easy and uses ingredients I always have on hand since I'm doing low carb/Keto. I absolutely wouldn't change a thing.

I did not make any major changes. I used Asiago and Parmesan cheese, 1 3/4 cups. Everything else was according to the recipe. Absolutely delicious. I put over sauteed broccoli and sauteed pulled rotisserie chicken. Yum!

Quick, great taste and multiple uses. We used it over zucchini and mushrooms for dinner. Afterwards I tried it with pork rinds; so good! Now for true confessions - I'm a cream cheese and cheddar cheese fan and needed to save some cream for another use. So I used 8 oz cream cheese and 1-1/2 cups heavy cream. I also used 2 cups cheese, half cheddar and half grated parmesan.

I made this tonight with zoodles and chicken. It was delicious!! I'd highly recommend it! Super fast and easy! I had already precooked the chicken breast, so dinner was ready in 20 minutes, tops.

I made no changes. Just remember to measure your ingredients beforehand. Keep the spoon handy for stirring. I used a porcelain coated cast iron skillet. It was very quick to finish, and the sauce turned out well. I poured it over sauteed prawns and zoodles. Very yummy and satisfying.

This sauce was amazing. Super flavourful and it can be used for anything. Night one, I poured it over Palmini noodles with sauteed spinach and mushrooms. Night 2, I sauteed cauliflower rice (with a little butter), threw in mushrooms and spinach again and roasted chicken. Mixed together, it made what was almost identical to a cozy rice casserole. It was unreal. This sauce is my new go-to and it saved me on a night I just wanted something comforting to eat… it made enough for me to use the next day and freeze some for the future as well. Highly recommend!

This was soooo delicious, and thank you for sharing the recipe! I made this as written and doubled the recipe to have some for future meals. I used this as the sauce (instead of a red pizza sauce) for a chicken & red onion alfredo pizza, using a low-carb tortilla. I plan to use leftover sauce on roasted broccoli, edamame pasta, spaghetti squash, and as a dipping sauce for low carb tortillas I crisp in the oven.

This sauce was amazing! I've never made my own. I felt like I was at olive garden. I added a little more cheese at the end and some Italian seasoning. I poured it over zoodles and topped with chicken, bacon, sauteed red bell pepper, and grated parmesan.
